Every week there is a fresh invitation on Weekly Prompts. Write a response, submit when you are ready, then spend your votes cheering other writers.
How a week runs
- A prompt becomes active (only one live week at a time).
- You draft and submit one entry for that week within the word limits.
- Published entries freeze — title and body cannot be edited — so voting stays fair.
- You get a limited vote budget (usually five votes per week; unvoting frees a slot). Contest votes are separate from community upvotes on entry comments.
- When the week closes, leaderboard placements settle; badges and Wanderer XP can land when points are enabled.
- Past weeks stay in the Archive; streaks and stats show on your Profile when you have played.
You can usually vote without submitting, unless a week’s settings say otherwise. Entry comments use the community reply stack under each piece. Report tools exist when something breaks the rules.
Weekly Prompt XP and badges feed Wanderer — not Emberwright. Official Jobs still pay Wisps, not prompt votes.
