Pause if you need quiet. Your stories stay online, but discovery promotion and digests calm down until you come back.
Delete waits about two weeks so you can change your mind. Before it runs, choose what happens to your writing:
- Keep stories up (recommended) — readers keep their bookmarks; the byline becomes “Former author.”
- Unpublish everything — stories leave public view before the account goes.
You can cancel deletion any time during the waiting period.
